Job summary

Spartan Emergency Response (Spartan ER) is seeking a full-time supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in vehicle assembly with focus on safety, quality and 5S practices. You will train staff, read installation prints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety and process standards.

Principal duties include driving continuous improvement, conducting regular audits, and maintaining strong leadership to meet takt time and cost objectives in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Safety-first leadership required with audits.
• Investigate injuries and implement corrective actions.
• Train and hold staff to the 5S and quality standards.
• Communicate QA standards and drive training.
• Facilitate daily start-of-shift meetings and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Must be full-time and have at least 1 year experience in commercial vehicle assembly (Walk-ins, Truck Bodies/PDVs).
• Must be flexible with work hours/assignments and have a good knowledge of the manufacturing build process.
• Train your team to read installation and assembly prints, troubleshoot production issues, safety and 5S processes and regulations.
• Proficient with computers (Aurora a plus).
• Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate co-workers, have a positive attitude, be highly organized and have a strong desire to be proactive in dealing with product and people issues.
