Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Six months to one year in a supervisory role in a production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.

Responsibilities

• Understand operation of production machinery; assist with set-up and assembly as required.
• Practice and enforce safety procedures.
• Train employees on production procedures, safety guidelines and practices, quality control measures, and company policies.
• Identify potential problems in meeting deadlines and communicates issues to the Production Lead as required.
• Communicate maintenance concerns and follow company preventative maintenance schedule.
• Continuously investigate opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Participate in additional training as part of job development as necessary.
• Inventory Management.
