Job summary

Pratt Industries in the United States is seeking a Production Lead to supervise the daily process of producing quality converted products, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal waste while cross-training team members.

You will train crews on presses, coordinate with Maintenance, and lead weekly Production and Safety meetings, fostering teamwork and cost-conscious decisions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years prior supervisory experience.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train crews on presses.
• Ensure available tools and materials for tasks.
• Oversee crews to ensure reliability and punctuality.
• Foster teamwork, morale and confidentiality.
• Address crew questions and concerns.
• Communicate performance to crew.
• Coordinate with supervisor on repairs or maintenance.
• Lead weekly Production/Safety meetings.
• Improve career skills through seminars or courses.
• Enforce company policies including safety and housekeeping.
