Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. This role supports department communication, process improvement, and performance tracking in a multi-shift environment at our Austin site.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or technical training with at least 2 years of related experience and a solid foundation in reading instructions, data interpretation, and basic math.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree or technical training with related experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and data.
• Basic math, measurements and graph interpretation skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide performance feedback through formal and informal evaluations.
• Lead process development and cost improvement projects.
• Coordinate department resource requirements.
• Assist in budget planning and manage expenses.
• Communicate daily production and customer service issues.
• Highlight material shortages and interface with Expediter/Purchasing.
• Identify bottlenecks and monitor downtime.
• Interface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment issues.
• Track time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work.
• Ensure cross-shift communication flow.
• Update department communication boards.
• Follow quality indicators and stop if targets are not met.
• Act as primary contact for scrap-related situations.
