Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex brand in Ocala, FL, seeks a Team Leader to guide a manufacturing crew and translate company goals into actionable daily tasks. You will monitor KPIs, manage takt time, and collaborate with production to index products through the cell efficiently.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance reviews, problem solving, and maintaining 5S standards while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities

• Goal Setting & Execution: translate broader company goals into actionable daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and adjust to index product completion.
• Delegation: assign tasks based on team members' strengths and development goals, monitor productivity to meet takt time.
• Coaching & Mentorship: identify skill gaps, provide training, and conduct performance reviews.
• Performance Tracking: monitor team efficiency and report variances in planned manpower hours.
• Problem Solving and Resolution: act as a buffer for the team, address roadblocks, and escalate issues.
• Effective Communication: liaison between team and leadership with regular status updates.
• Follows all Standard Work and conducts start-up meetings when needed.
• Works with Production Supervisor and other departments to resolve issues; coordinate tools and materials.
• Reports directly to the Production Supervisor; champion Continuous Improvement activities.
• Responsible for 5S and overall cleanliness of assigned areas; perform other tech duties.
