Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex company in Florida, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians. You will design, develop, and test components and systems, review designs for feasibility and cost, and ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.

You will participate in customer meetings, drive robust designs, support dealers, and lead Lean initiatives while planning resources to meet schedules and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent required.
• Typically requires 3+ years of experience in related area as an individual contributor (7+ years total).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of engineers, designers, and technicians by scheduling work assignments and directing the team.
• Review and approve designs and related components.
• Create specifications aligned with customer requirements, industry standards and company practices.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand design requirements and discuss product parameters.
• Develop robust product designs that are safe, buildable, and interference-free.
• Support regional and international dealers as needed.
• Lead Lean initiatives within the organization and assist other departments.

• Plan and assign resources to meet bid and order review schedules.
• Evaluate employee performance and identify training needs.
• Discuss feasibility with management and optimize for cost.
• Maintain industry standards while driving profitability and cost reductions.
• Document timekeeping and enforce policies.
