Job summary

E-ONE, a leading producer of custom fire and rescue vehicles, seeks a Production Supervisor to guide a team of hourly workers in building advanced fire trucks and assemblies. You will drive schedule adherence, quality, and safety while coaching operators in problem resolution and process improvement.

You will lead Lean initiatives, support ISO compliance, and collaborate with engineering, materials, and product management to deliver high-quality vehicles on time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA/FAA/OSHA training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily assignments of hourly production personnel to meet schedule commitments and cycle time requirements.
• Ensure quality, regulatory and ISO requirements are met and stop production if needed.
• Review workmanship to ensure compliance with customer requirements and engineering docs; enforce safety and quality standards.
• Maintain safety, environmental compliance and attendance records; enforce policies; initiate disciplinary actions as required.
• Provide technical expertise for problem resolution; liaise with Materials, Engineering, Sales Administration and Product Management to determine root causes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives; drive Lean 5S, standard work, Kaizen and visual management.
• Lead the team to achieve production goals and support Lean transformations.
