Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to assist with daily store operations and run production efficiently to meet budget while upholding company standards. The role may include supervisory duties during shifts and requires the ability to manage back-room workflow and staff performance.

Responsibilities include meeting production goals, ensuring donation processing, maintaining a clean store environment, and promoting Goodwill's mission to the public.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED in the required timeframe; supervisory experience or 90 days in service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Retail training completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet or exceed budget.
• Act as a supervisor when assigned by Store Manager or Production Manager.
• Work to reach production goals (minimum 110 garments/hour, min 90% quality).
• Ensure proper processing of donations and readiness for the store floor.
• Serve as a positive role model for employees and trainees.
• Maintain a clean store image with presentable staff and displays.
• Uphold safety and policy compliance in the back-room and store areas.
• Perform duties of Production Associates when needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts as assigned.
