Job summary

You will lead by example, support workplace readiness, and collaborate with staff to ensure quality, safety, and meaningful progress for participants as they grow their skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or similar populations.
• Experience supporting employment programs, vocational training, job coaching, or supporting others in achieving goals and developing skills.
• Knowledge of Connecticut DDS regulations and person-centered practices.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the production floor, working alongside adults with disabilities as they build workplace skills and independence.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and encouragement to create a safe, productive environment where individuals can grow and succeed.
• Teach workplace readiness, productivity, and independence.
• Support participants in achieving vocational and personal goals through mentoring and advocacy.
