Job summary

CW Resources, Inc. is seeking a Lead Production Direct Support Professional to lead by example on our production floor, working alongside adults with disabilities as they build workplace skills and independence through hands-on training, coaching, and encouragement.

You'll help create a safe, productive, and supportive environment where individuals can grow, succeed, and take pride in their accomplishments, while representing a team-driven culture focused on helping others achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or similar populations.
• Experience supporting employment programs, vocational training, job coaching, or supporting others in achieving goals and developing skills.
• Knowledge of Connecticut DDS regulations and person-centered practices.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the production floor, supporting adults with disabilities to build workplace skills and independence.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and encouragement to participants.
• Create a safe, productive, and supportive environment where individuals can grow and take pride in accomplishments.
• Teach workplace readiness and productivity as part of daily tasks.
• Advocate for participants and help them achieve vocational and personal goals.
