Job summary

OBE is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safe, efficient processes and quality standards. You will bridge management and production staff, coordinate workflow, monitor performance, and resolve issues to maintain productivity and deadlines.

In this role you will counsel and develop employees, coordinate across shifts, enforce safety and quality, and keep accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel, mentor, coach, and develop employees.
• Coordinate production workflow throughout the department and move resources as needed.
• Communicate across shifts to ensure proper handoffs.
• Ensure all crew members are prepared with PPE.
• Enforce company guidelines including Safety & Quality.
• Make quick decisions to meet product requirements.
• Perform daily quality checks.
• Cross-train to operate all equipment.
• Train department employees on processes and safety.
• Notify management of equipment malfunctions and safety issues.
• Maintain production records and suggest improvements.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
• Address production delays and staffing challenges promptly.
