Job summary

OBE is seeking a Production Manager to lead shift operations on the plant floor, directing safety, quality and productivity initiatives in our Florida facility.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, familiarity with Toyota Production System concepts (5S, root cause analysis), and strong production planning skills to coordinate people and equipment effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of TPS concepts such as 5S and root cause analysis.
• Strong production planning and resource coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage labor across your entire shift to keep operations running smoothly & efficiently
• Drive plant operations & lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner closely with all departments to achieve plant KPIs, including safety, environment, people, quality, responsiveness & cost
• Ensure all personnel arrive to shift wearing correct safety equipment & maintain safety awareness throughout the shift
• Champion safety & incident reporting procedures, ensuring every team member is properly trained & performing their job functions correctly
