Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training acceptable.
• Expert in manufacturing line techniques with ability to improve processes.
• Able to present information clearly in one-on-one or small groups.
• 2-4 years of team lead or supervisor experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing feedback on performance through evaluations.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Coordinate department staffing and budget planning.
• Communicate daily production plan and address issues.
• Highlight material shortages and interface with expediter/purchasing.
• Monitor bottlenecks and respond to downtime.
• Interface with maintenance on equipment problems.
• Track time for NPIs and new production.
• Maintain effective shift communication and update boards.
• Ensure quality indicators are met and stop issues when needed.
• Act as primary contact for scrap situations.
