Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Production Lead to support the Production Supervisor by ensuring safety and successful execution of team assignments. You will act as a liaison between frontline employees and management, and help implement posted schedules.

The role requires prior production/manufacturing experience, strong communication, and ability to train staff. Competitive benefits and a focus on safety are provided in a collaborative, fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience in production/manufacturing; concrete manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated reliability including good attendance.
• Experience leading people is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses.
• Understand and apply basic math skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; work in plant environment with noise, dust, and hot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies and report issues to management.
• Enter safety information into compliance software as directed.
• Execute production schedule and identify gaps or changes needed.
• Fill in by working in production when gaps are noted.
• Ensure employees receive necessary training (compliance, safety, or technical).
• Package production documents for processing.
• Maintain attendance records and payroll schedules.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate information to employees.
• Coordinate with other departments to share information.
• Examine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and specs.
• Maintain open lines of communication within the team and management.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
