Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Production Lead to support the Production Supervisor and ensure shifts run safely and on schedule. You will relay important information between frontline staff and management and step in when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior production/manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to train staff. You will work in a plant environment with indoor/outdoor exposure, noise, dust, and hot equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production/manufacturing preferred, concrete manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated reliability and positive attitude; leadership experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses; ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies and report issues to management.
• Enter safety information into compliance software as directed.
• Execute production schedule and address gaps or changes.
• Fill in by working in production as needed.
• Ensure employees receive appropriate safety and technical training.
• Prepare and package production documents.
• Maintain attendance records and schedule payroll-related shifts.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate with employees.
• Coordinate with other departments to share information.
• Inspect progress and equipment to ensure safety and specifications.
• Maintain open communication between team and management.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
