Howmet Aerospace in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Ergo Tech for the 1st shift in Operations. You will lead a production team, ensure parts meet drawings, and train operators while driving continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and hands-on use of measuring tools. ITAR compliance and US work authorization are required. This is an on-site, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Leadership and communication skills required.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with multiple manufacturing processes and quality checks.
• High school diploma or GED required; Production Tech III experience preferred.
• ITAR-related eligibility required; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team in product and process improvement.
• Prepare daily production reports and monitor performance.
• Produce parts meeting drawings and specifications.
• Set-up and operate equipment per instructions.
• Perform SPC data collection and quality checks.
• Manage inventory levels of tooling, gauges and supplies.
• Train technicians in plant equipment operation and testing methods.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S and company policies.
• Participate in daily stand-up and operations meetings.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
