Job summary

Bel Brands in Nampa, ID seeks a Production Lead for Materne North America. You will support the Production Supervisor, guiding the day-to-day work of the shift. The role is on C shift: Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday, 7am–7pm.

Responsibilities include leading the production team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinating with support departments. Prior trainer/lead experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience as a trainer, lead, or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is highly desired.
• Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team during a 12-hour shift with a visible presence on the shop floor.
• Mentor and motivate team members to follow safe work practices and GMPs while meeting performance objectives.
• Assist the Supervisor in ensuring product conformance and quality; make independent decisions when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day challenges and escalate to Supervisor/maintenance as appropriate.
• Coordinate communications between Supervisor, team, support departments and other lines.
• Schedule and coordinate start-up, shut-down, CIP, and other activities per Supervisor instructions.
• Monitor production boards and data to drive safety, quality and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure accurate reporting of non-conforming materials and timely submission to Quality.
• Observe training activities and provide feedback to the Supervisor.
