Job Title: Production Lead

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Swing Shift

What You’ll Do

As a Production Lead, you will guide a team of machinists in the production of highly complex aerospace parts using advanced CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis). You'll ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, mentor your team, and collaborate across departments to maintain top performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Assign daily machinist tasks and ensure schedule alignment
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
  • Coach and mentor machinists to support professional growth
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA to improve workflow
  • Ensure optimal machine setups and calibration
  • Maintain tooling availability
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Enforce safety and compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards
  • Support other departments as needed (Debur, Assembly, Washing, Shipping)

What You Need to Have
The Musts:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7+ years of machining experience, including 2+ years in a lead role
  • Strong CNC machine knowledge (3, 4, 5-axis)
  • Advanced understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5
  • Ability to troubleshoot, coach, and enforce high standards
  • Forklift Certification
  • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
Preferred:
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience with Lean, 6S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
