Job summary

Johnson Service Group seeks a Production Lead for an aerospace manufacturer in Sun Valley, CA. This Temp-Direct position supports production floor activities, safety, quality, and on-time completion of work orders.

You will coordinate with leads, monitor inventory and schedule adherence, train staff, and write nonconformances. The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in manufacturing leadership and can interpret drawings and routing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product safety, quality and timely completion of work orders on the production floor.
• Coordinate with Leads to prioritize work and ensure schedule adherence.
• Report on production statuses (schedule adherence, labor times, queue times).
• Monitor shortages and line stock inventory levels; report deficiencies.
• Write up nonconformances and ensure resolution; support NCMR rework.
• Back fill in transformer and power supply departments as required.
• Coordinate with stockroom to resolve production kit issues; interpret drawings and routing instructions.
