Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Position Summary

The Senior Lead Person plays a key leadership role in daily operations by providing guidance, coordination, and support to team members to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety guidelines are met. This position acts as a liaison between frontline employees and supervisors or management, helping to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workflow and assign tasks to team members based on production priorities.
  • Ensure work is performed efficiently and safely, following company policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor new and existing employees on processes, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to team members.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and ensuring adequate staffing for each shift.
  • Communicate issues or delays to supervisors and help implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Participate in quality assurance and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Data entry.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or leadership training preferred.
  • Minimum [3] years of experience in manufacturing, with at least [5] years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, timekeeping systems).
  • Forklift experience.

Working Conditions

  • May be required to stand, walk, bend, or lift for extended periods.
  • Occasional overtime, weekends, or shift work may be necessary based on operational needs.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, or temperature variations depending on location.
