Job Description
About the role:

The role is responsible for executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other related regulations which could apply. He/She is expected to fully participate in departmental projects and quality teams. Under the supervision, this position shall be responsible for hands-on execution of all activities in the production area, problem-solving in other functional areas, and may act as a delegate in the supervisor's absence. The incumbent is responsible for the successful transfer of new processes/methodologies into manufacturing.

How You Will Contribute
  • Supports local manufacturing operations.
  • Assists supervisor in organizing schedules and directing team members.
  • Conducts shift change in absence of shift supervisor.
  • Troubleshoots process problems and responds to alarms.
  • Operates production equipment.
  • Prepares media and buffer solutions.
  • Acts as main interface with other departments for equipment, process, and compliance issues.
  • Completes documentation following GDP/GMP guidelines.
  • Participates in continuous improvement and may lead projects.
  • Trains and mentors team members.
  • Assists with validation and data analysis.
  • Manages inventory and material transfers, including hazardous materials.
  • Maintains safety culture and follows EHS protocols.
What You Bring To Takeda
  • High school diploma or GED plus 6+ years of experience or higher education with related work experience.
  • Process knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
  • Good communication skills and understanding of cGMP regulations.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and apply quantitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in mathematical disciplines and measurement standards.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of chemical and biological safety procedures.
  • Strong computer skills.
Important Considerations

Must be able to carry weights, stand for long periods, work in controlled environments, and work multiple shifts including weekends and overtime. May require gowning, immunization, and working in confined or cold/hot environments.

Shift Requirements and Compensation

2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, with shift differentials. Compensation includes benefits, incentives, and various employee programs.
