Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily coordination and continuous improvement of the entire facility. It involves assessing daily operational needs and training requirements for team members, ensuring a safe and productive environment, and monitoring staff development through coaching. The role also supports SRMP, Alchemy, backup duties, and other responsibilities as assigned. The incumbent will work closely with all plant disciplines including Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Planning, Facilities, Raw Materials, Warehouse, Customers, Suppliers, and Auditors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of progressive plant operational experience, or similar.
Ability and desire to lead in a team environment, fostering decision-making, ownership, and open communication.
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively, and facilitate meetings.
Apply experience and common sense to resolve issues efficiently, troubleshoot problems, and improve line efficiency, quality, safety, and sanitation.
