Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Northwood, IA is seeking an IT Leader to oversee production IT operations and security controls across the site. You will provide technical direction, manage escalations, and drive improvements in reliability and risk management within a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong networking, server, and virtualization expertise (Hyper‑V/VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory) and the ability to collaborate with facilities and IT teams to sustain production systems

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10 years related experience may be substituted for degree.
• Experience with enterprise network switches, routers, WiFi, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT direction, prioritization, and escalation across Norplas operations.
• Drive improvements in technical capability, controls discipline, and operational maturity across IT support processes.
• Ensure documented procedures, escalation paths, and security practices are followed consistently.
• Own daily IT operational stability for production‑critical systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrators and Network Engineers to ensure facility infrastructure operates reliably.
