Job summary

Insomniac is seeking an energetic Intern to join the production team in Calabasas, CA. This hands-on role offers fast-paced exposure to events, operations, and content development for Emo Nite and Live Nation brands.

As an intern, you will support the Production Manager and Coordinator with databases, calendars, travel planning, merch, and on-site assistance at Grave Raves and festivals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and interest in music industry, emo/rock music, and Emo Nite’s brand.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management tools like Asana or Airtable is a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager & Production Coordinator with databases and calendars (Airtable, Google Calendar).
• Coordinate with Emo Nite teams across regions on event ops before and day-of.
• Assist Production Coordinator with theme research, scenic procurement, staffing and travel.
• Help create content for Emo Nite outlets and shoot content as needed.
• Support on-site at Emo Nite events (Grave Raves, Festivals).
• Help organize and maintain Emo Nite warehouse space.
• Serve as a runner and run errands for events weekly and during bigger events.
• Assist with merch management for OOT parties and line launches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
