Job summary

tms in Chicago is offering a Summer Production Internship to support the day-to-day production lead on client projects and provide status updates. The program runs June 2, 2027 through August 5, 2027, with a hybrid workplace in the Chicago area.

As an intern, you will assist with bids, schedules, milestones, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality final products. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple business units and participate in Capstone

Qualifications

  • Rising junior/senior or recent graduate with 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day production lead on client projects; provide updates on status calls/emails.
  • Assist in preparing project bids, schedules, and milestones for the team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify needs and ensure product quality.
  • Implement production policies and procedures to improve timeliness and accuracy.
  • Stay current with print and digital technology advancements.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Production Intern:


Supports day-to-day production lead on assigned client projects; provides project updates on status calls/emails.Aids in preparation of project bids (estimates), schedules, and milestones for team members.Engage and collaborate with internal and external partners to identify program needs and create effective solutions to ensure final products represent the quality of tmsImplement policy, procedure, and protocol to facilitate and enhance timely and accurate production; help drive overall operational excellence by actively engaging in production policy, procedure and protocol.Stay on top of advances in print and digital technology and implementation as necessary

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Rising Junior, Senior,orRecent Graduate

GPA: 3.0 or higher

Solutions-orientedwithcritical thinking and problem-solving skills

Stronginterpersonal skills, enjoys building relationships and working with others

Proficient inMS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong time and project management skills, comfortable juggling multiple tasks

Resourceful and a proactive self-starter

Hourly Rate: $20/hr
