Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director to lead AMRAAM Production Integration & Readiness. You will drive cost, schedule, and technical execution for Lot 39/40, coordinate across engineering, operations, and contracts, and serve as the primary interface to the customer and Global Air Dominance teams.

Based in Tucson, AZ, this role requires security clearance readiness, strong leadership of large matrixed teams, and extensive experience with defense hardware production and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years experience, or advanced degree with 10+ years experience.
• Proven people leadership and program management experience.
• Experience with estimating using EACs and risk/opportunity management.
• Defense industry experience in hardware production.
• Experience leading large, complex matrixed teams.
• Experience with military hardware factory production and delivering to customers.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM cadence, risk boards, schedule reviews, and contract requirements across engineering, operations, supply chain, and contracts.
• Serve as Production Liaison to Global Air Dominance teams and interface with international customers.
• Drive cost, schedule, and technical execution for AMRAAM Lot 39/40 contracts.
• Manage negotiations, contract startups, and production handoffs to secure awards.
• Oversee TE resilience, spare parts, and production readiness initiatives.
