Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director for AMRAAM Production Integration & Readiness in Tucson, AZ. You will lead P&L, cost, schedule, and technical execution for Lot 39/40, coordinating with engineering, operations, supply chain and contracts to ensure timely customer delivery.

Responsibilities include production gates, capture activities, and contract startup, plus risk and opportunity mitigation. You will mentor teams and drive long-range production strategies in a highly regulated defense

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 12+ years in related work, or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Proven people leadership and program/project management experience.
• Experience with EACs and risk and opportunity management.
• Defense industry experience supporting hardware production.
• Experience leading large, matrixed teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead P&L, cost, schedule, and technical execution for AMRAAM Lot 39/40 contract and act as primary Raytheon/customer interface.
• Execute Production Gates, capture activities, negotiations, and contract startup to support awards.
• Manage contract execution, production handoffs, and integration activities.
• Develop and manage EAC planning, performance, and PM cadence including risk boards and staffing reviews.
• Drive risk and opportunity mitigation to protect schedule and costs.
• Ensure compliance with RLPM, contract requirements, and corporate policy.
• Lead cross-functional PM cadence and coordinate with engineering, SCM, ops, quality, finance, and contracts.
• Develop long-range production strategies and serve as Production Liaison to Global Air Dominance team.
