Job summary

RTX's ALEGS department in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer II – Production Hardware for hands-on development and production oversight. You will work across engineering, operations and supply chain to troubleshoot and resolve issues in digital, analog and RF hardware during the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, travel minimally, and support a 3rd shift. A bachelor’s in a STEM field with 2+ years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis and/or DSP.
• Familiarity with lab equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Assist production hardware development with cost, schedule and technical oversight.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering to resolve issues during production, testing and integration.
• Travel less than 10% annually; support 3rd shift (11pm-8am).
• Provide technical oversight, cost estimation, tracking, reporting and coordination.
