Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Production Foreman to lead a team in assembling diesel and natural gas-powered generators and related equipment. You will ensure consistent workmanship, meet deadlines, and deliver quality finished products on the factory floor.

The role emphasizes organizing technicians, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and adhering to project specifications. A background in automotive/diesel fabrication and strong communication are valued in this hands-on

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical degree/certificate in Automotive, Diesel or Welding/Fabrication is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical skills and safe work habits.
Good communication skills and knowledge of equipment operations are essential.
Diagnostic skills are important for troubleshooting.
Ability to repair and assemble components and equipment consistently.

Responsibilities

Organize and keep technicians on task.
Ensure quality standards on all generator units during product assembly.
Oversee technician training.
Follow through with project specifications, serial numbers and other documentation.
Ensure all assembly areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
Open and close manufacturing floor according to business hours.
Perform other tasks as needed.
