Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services in Platte City, MO is seeking a Production Foreman to lead the assembly of diesel and natural gas-powered generators and motorized equipment. You will drive consistent, efficient workmanship, meet deadlines, and ensure quality finished products.

You will organize technicians, uphold safety standards, oversee training, and ensure documentation accuracy for serial numbers and project specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certificate in automotive, diesel or welding/fabrication preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment operations.
• Excellent communication and safe work habits.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Organize and keep technicians on task.
• Ensure quality standards on all generator units during product assembly.
• Oversee technician training.
• Follow through with project specifications, serial numbers and other documentation.

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Foreman assembles custom built diesel and natural gas-powered electric generators and motorized equipment.The positionis responsible forconsistent and efficient workmanship in a team environment, meetingdeadlinesand delivering quality finished products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and keep technicians on task

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending,kneelingand climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
