Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor in Sidney, NY to coordinate and assure the execution of production flow across Sidney operations. You will staff operations, manage equipment, and drive cost reductions to maximize productivity, delivery and product quality.

Responsibilities include supervising hourly employees, resolving production impediments, and ensuring safety. Strong leadership, budgeting, and MRP knowledge are essential, with a focus on compliance and continuous

Qualifications

Requires BA/BS in operations or equivalent education/experience.
3–5+ years in operations or materials related roles.
Experience in cost reduction and budgeting.
Prior people management or leadership experience.
Working knowledge of plant manufacturing operations and MRP systems.
Ability to read factory documentation and understand quality systems.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to move about the factory floor and stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Proficient computer usage.

Responsibilities

Oversee AAO Sidney Production workflow centers, production and support groups.
Provide administrative leadership for hourly employees.
Identify and resolve impediments to production flow (materials, labor, equipment).
Ensure safety and quality in the assigned area.
Lead budgeted cost reductions, productivity improvements, and equipment recommendations.
Train and develop assigned personnel.
Interface with Union leadership to resolve labor issues and enforce policies.
Support customer service and on-time delivery.
