Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations in Sidney, NY is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate production machinery, move WIP between work zones, inspect parts, and help keep the work flow center organized.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; preferred CNC training and 2–5 years of on-the-job experience. Willingness to work any shift and read blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a production manufacturing environment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to read/interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Transport W.I.P. materials, supplies, and product between work flow centers.
• Retrieve, use, and maintain; all tools, racks, fixtures, and gauges required to perform the necessary tasks within the WFC.
• Check produced parts against inspection standards for the operations being completed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines to the extent of ability.
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the WFC.
