Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Production Coordinator to assist the Production Manager by coordinating daily workflow, expediting materials, and communicating across departments to meet the production schedule.

You will review schedules, determine material requirements, coordinate with vendors and customers, and help resolve production issues while ensuring quality and on-time deliveries. Strong organization and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite flow of work and materials within or between departments to meet production schedule.
• Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing to determine requirements and priorities.
• Confer with employees, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve delays or complaints.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary for production demands.
• Revise schedules due to changes or shortages in collaboration with management, sales, production, and engineering.
• Schedule customers daily for installs, repairs, and field estimates.
• Review daily work orders and tickets submitted by technicians.
• Ensure deliveries arrive on time and are inspected for damages or missing items.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by manager.
