Job summary

Saratoga Horseworks in Upstate New York is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials to support the production schedule.

You will review schedules, track progress with supervisors, generate reports, and maintain inventory accuracy while collaborating with internal and external suppliers.

Strong computer skills, ERP (Epicor preferred), Lean or Six Sigma knowledge, and excellent communication are essential for success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with physical inventory and/or cycle counting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Epicor is a plus.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials to support the production schedule.
• Review and distribute production schedules and track progress with supervisors.
• Prepare reports on work status, inventory levels, costs and production issues.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and the receiving of materials from internal and external sources.
• Enter and maintain data in the ERP system; ensure production lines receive accurate materials.
• Operate production equipment as needed and adhere to safety standards.
