Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Production Coordinator to support coordination and accuracy of production orders, interfacing with sales, customer service, and manufacturing to keep jobs moving smoothly through production.

The role requires strong computer skills, the ability to learn new software quickly, and the ability to read and interpret work orders. Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, with duties including data entry and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and numerical data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Review order specifications provided by sales, customer service, and customers.
  • Communicate by phone and email to ensure orders are processed correctly.
  • Resolve order discrepancies with sales, customer service, and customers.
  • Ensure accurate information is provided to manufacturing.
  • Enter and maintain information in internal data management systems.
  • Generate and prepare production work orders for the manufacturing floor.
  • Work closely with office, manufacturing, and shipping teams.
  • Maintain and file required documentation.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
