Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience and 1-2 years of management experience.
• Candidates should be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds and manage a fast-paced shop floor.
• Ability to form and manage effective teams and transmit ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, assign, and monitor onsite vendors for repairs and cost control.
• Monitor shop expenses and budget; seek efficiency improvements.
• Promote safety culture; conduct safety meetings and OSHA-style inspections.
• Inspect repairs for DOT and company standards.
• Staff, performance manage, conduct annual reviews, and track attendance.
• Schedule inbound equipment and prioritize repairs to maximize utilization.
• Ensure shift starts on time and assign work orders for efficient workflow.
