You will help manage staffing, performance reviews, timekeeping, and attendance while coordinating safety and productivity across shifts, including nights and weekends. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience, including 1-2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, assign, and monitor onsite vendors to ensure proper repairs are completed and costs are controlled.
• Monitor expenses related to shop management to maintain the budget.
• Promote a safe work environment and conduct safety meetings in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment meets DOT and company standards.
• Manage staffing, performance reviews, and time and attendance.
• Oversee work-in-progress to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Perform daily operational tasks such as estimates and yard checks.
• Train staff on service bulletins, OSHA compliance, and policies.
• Schedule inbound equipment and prioritize repairs to maximize utilization.
• Ensure warranty procedures are followed and campaigns completed.
• Begin shifts on time and assign work orders to maintain workflow.
