Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 3+ years warehouse supervision experience including thorough knowledge of receiving, shipping, product fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Experience with standard warehousing procedures and practices.
• Previous leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employees.
• Ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and organize merchandise necessary to create an organized operation.
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production floor execution of all activities.
• Plan production activities with Planning Manager and Account Management.
• Determine appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverables.
• Review master production schedule and work orders to maximize availability and meet expectations.
• Supervise fulfillment and warehouse personnel to ensure productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Ensure lines are set up and materials are ready for prompt start of each shift.
• Communicate duties clearly to employees at line start up.
• Conduct interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; discipline when needed.
• Support and maintain corporate quality standards, policies, and work instructions.
• Provide a safe working environment adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on issues, employee development, safety, and communications.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; ensure respectful treatment of others.
• Perform other duties as required.
