Job summary

DanHil Containers II, Ltd. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality, and daily operations on the production floor. You will teach, coach, and supervise hourly staff, identify hazards, and drive efficient processes while ensuring on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include planning work, directing crews, and addressing issues to minimise waste. Strong communication and machine knowledge are essential to raise safety, quality, and output across shifts.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Five years of experience operating corrugated converting machines.
• Able to manage multiple high throughput machines.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Desire and ability to teach, coach and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback through regularly scheduled crew meetings and annual evaluations.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment through employee buy-in.
• Identify hazards and act proactively to minimize hazards, investigate incidents and participate in corrective actions.
• Provide leadership on the production floor and achieve excellence in safety, health, environmental, and quality.
• Address key issues and concerns to ensure excellent quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify repairs needed at machine centers and create work orders for completion.
• Monitor production progress to eliminate waste and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedule.
