Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, quality, safety and resource control on the factory floor.
• Train personnel; accelerate training for new or displaced workers.
• Maximize production throughput and efficient use of labor and materials.
• Maintain equipment to prevent downtime and address problems before they occur.
• Enforce safety rules and standard practices on the production floor.
• Review production reports and implement corrective actions for substandard performance.
• Direct and assign work to employees and ensure proper on-floor supervision.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; document findings and corrective actions.
