Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Production Floor Leader to direct a second-shift team on the manufacturing floor in Greensburg, Indiana. You will drive daily targets, uphold safety and quality, and sustain a disciplined 6S environment.

You will mentor associates, verify PMs, and manage end-to-end production flow while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams. Strong leadership, scheduling, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and scheduling capability.
• Strong organization and project management habits.
• Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Analytical problem solver who protects confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily production targets with clear priorities and communication.
• Mentor and develop associates; ensure training sticks.
• Oversee end-to-end process; correct drift to standard.
• Confirm PMs are completed; sign off PMs, First Piece tags, PDS, and Sintering Conditions sheets.
• Perform daily quality verifications and operator-check audits.
• Drive safety improvements; support quality, safety, setup, and automation issues.
• Host customer visits and support 6S audits and gemba walks.
• Investigate rejections; lead root-cause and countermeasure actions.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and work rules are followed.
• Prepare area for quality, safety, and environmental audits.
• Complete required reports and interdepartmental approvals.
