Precision Castparts in Pennsylvania seeks a Floor Lead to supervise production staff, delegate assignments, and train operators while monitoring performance on the shop floor.
Responsibilities include maintaining 6S standards, communicating manufacturing instructions, tracking production in the ERP, and coordinating with maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.
The Floor Lead supervises employees while they work, ensuring compliance with company safety and manufacturing policies and procedures. The Floor Lead delegates assignments, trains personnel to new roles and monitors & corrects performance. The Floor Lead performs an active role as the first point of contact between floor personnel and the plant support organization. Floor Leads often perform the same work processes and activities as the production team when needed.
