Job summary

Alliance Steel OKC is seeking a working lead to support day-to-day operations on the production floor. The role coordinates workflow, guides team members, and promotes a safe, productive environment while ensuring quality and efficiency per company standards.

The position requires supervising experience, forklift and overhead crane operation, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience required
• Prior lead, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and workflow to meet schedules
• Lead by example, enforce safety policies and PPE requirements
• Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and support to production employees
• Assign work tasks and ensure materials and resources are available
• Communicate production updates and staffing needs to management
• Ensure inspections are completed on equipment before and after use
• Troubleshoot production or equipment issues and elevate concerns as needed
• Partner with Quality Control to meet quality standards and customer specs
