Job summary

Sefar is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of a production area. You will lead a team on the shop floor, provide direction, coaching, and accountability to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.

You will maintain process knowledge, coordinate resources, and track performance with regular updates to the Operations Manager. Strong communication, Lean principles, and ERP system familiarity are valued as you drive continuous improvement and safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum of prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide regular performance feedback, set clear expectations, and hold employees accountable for safety and efficiency.
• Lean Manufacturing principles experience preferred.
• ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the assigned production area meets or exceeds targets for productivity, delivery, expense, quality and safety as established by the Operations Manager.
• Maintain strong knowledge of processes in the area; identify concerns and coordinate with Operations Manager, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to resolve them.
• Coordinate people, equipment, supplies, workspace, and documentation to support safe and effective production; provide regular performance updates in areas: People, Equipment, Supplies, Physical Space, Documentation.
• Review and respond to quality issues; support containment, investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action; ensure changes affecting product requirements are reviewed and approved by Quality and Product Development.
• Identify, implement and track department improvements; measure performance; ensure change approvals for improvements follow the same process as for quality issues.
• Provide a monthly operational summary to the Operations Manager and other stakeholders; include KPI performance, quality/safety concerns, resource needs, improvements, project status, and upcoming priorities.
