Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a Floater Laborer in Northumberland, PA for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). You will support the pouch-line production, unload beans, cut pork, and learn multiple production tasks while operating a forklift and following GMPs.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to different positions on the pouch line and related tasks.
• High accuracy in daily documentation and safety procedures.
• Clear communication with supervisors, line techs, and operators.
• Ability to read MMFs, SOPs and other work instructions.
• Willingness to learn and perform additional production jobs as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of job duties even when not operating equipment daily.

Responsibilities

• Unload beans, cut pork, dump beans, and fill in on pouch line as assigned.
• Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed.
• Scan raw materials using Assistics software.
• Operate a forklift.
• Follow GMPs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Contribute to teamwork and support coworkers.
• Complete required annual training and testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
