Job summary

Furmano Foods in Northumberland, PA is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support our team on the 2nd shift. You will handle pallet movement, loading, and basic inventory tasks while maintaining safety and food-grade standards.

This full-time role requires the ability to work with limited supervision, good time management, and strong teamwork. Training includes first-shift sessions to prepare for full duties and compliance with BRC standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Good time management and multitasking ability.
• Able to adapt to various positions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pallet sorting, cleaning and preparation.
• Repair and sort pallets as needed and load containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure readiness for the next shift.
• Maintain safety and follow food safety standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Support cross-departmental coordination as required.
• Follow supervisor directions and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ensure pallets and equipment are ready for operation during shift.
• Help maintain compliance with BRC and other standards.
