Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a Brine Room Helper to join our Northumberland, PA facility. This full-time, 2nd shift role involves assisting the Brine Room Operator, following mixing instructions, and ensuring safe, accurate brine production with strong attention to GMPs.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, handle containers up to 250 lbs with help, and communicate changes clearly during shift handoffs. Training will start on an early shift for up to 17 days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial machine operator experience or similar manufacturing exposure.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally move containers weighing up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Able to follow mixing instructions and communicate changes during shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assist Brine Room Operator.
• Follow mixing instructions (written or verbal).
• Maintain continuous flow of salt brines and communicate status during shift changes.
• Complete daily documentation and ensure GMPs are followed.
• Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed.
