Job summary

Furmano Foods in Northumberland, PA, is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). Responsibilities include pallet handling, load tasks, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas. Must read, write and speak fluent English and operate a forklift with good vision and math skills.

Responsibilities

• 2. Q.C. Projects—sorting, cleaning, stripping
• 3. Repair and Sort Pallets - must be able to flip pallets with or without assistance
• 4. Hand load containers
• 5. Cleaning project as assigned to maintain BRC compliance.
• 6. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating and helping co-workers.
• 7. Set the next shift up for success.
• 8. Effective cross-departmental communication.
• 9. All other jobs assigned by supervisor.
• 10. Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift. Area should be clean and fully stocked or prepared for the following shift.
