About The Position:

We are seeking a motivated material handler to join our company. This position is responsible for executing safety standards, achieving daily productivity goals while meeting quality requirements, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with non-routine maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times and immediately advise the supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Manipulate, cut, and/or form raw materials according to work orders to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment, including tape measures, calipers, shears, CNC burning tables, band saws, iron workers, track burners, haven tube cutters, forklifts, overhead cranes, and PPE.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet to heights of 5 feet; exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly to move objects, reach, squat, stand, walk up to 2 miles per day, climb stairs, ladders, and on equipment while wearing PPE.
• Maintain spatial awareness to safely move around work environments with many moving objects.
• Use clear vision to judge distances and maintain awareness of ongoing activities.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including precipitation, cold/heat, high wind, and turbulence.
• Attend all required company meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand work orders and/or receive oral instructions.
• Ability to effectively use basic computer applications.
• Intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum productivity levels safely.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of material and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain communication with other departments regarding routing, safety, and customer relations.

Physical Requirements:

• Use hands/fingers to handle, feel, talk, or hear.
• Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color vision, and focus adjustment.
