Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in our Georgia facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, PLC/control, and mechanical issues, emphasizing safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, writing work orders, coordinating parts, and communicating with operators and supervisors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience and overtime availability.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
2+ years experience working on mechanical and/or electrical equipment (installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
Understanding of electrical circuits and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Over-time may be required.
Valid driver’s license; welding skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot problems / breakdowns on production equipment and perform proper repairs.
Complete daily inspections on equipment, write work orders, locate parts, and submit purchase orders as needed.
Communicate machine problems to operators and supervisors and take necessary actions.
Work on assigned work orders, prep work, and locate/order parts.
Follow all safety policies including LOTO and confined space procedures.
Participate in daily team meetings and learn MP2 maintenance system navigation.
